Things are easier said than done, or so the old adage goes, and we couldn't agree more. That's why we do The GOOD 30-Day Challenge (#30DaysofGOOD), a monthly attempt to live better. Our challenge for July? Waste less.
As part of our 30-day pledge to reduce our waste, we asked you to tell us how we can encourage others to recycle more. We were so impressed by the submissions we received including a mural engraved with a recycling oath, a funny and instructional video from students at Hope College, and moving photographs of garbage slums.
Our winning submission is by Mark Bowers who sent us a video of his recycling installation. He will receive a GOOD T-shirt and a year's subscription to GOOD Magazine to keep or send to a friend. Congratulations, Mark!
