Wooster Collective on Etsy

  • Posted by: kylafullenwider

The Wooster Collective teamed up with Etsy last week to curate a magnificent list of hand-made treasures ranging from hand-knitted coffee cozies to guerrilla gardening kits (and lots in between).
It’s a smart and prescient collaboration.
Both public art and craft share the same kind of hand-made, local ethos and both have been re-imagined from their days as subway graffiti and your grandmother’s scarf. From adbusting in Berlin (featured here on Wooster Collective) to the hand-printed work of LA based Krank Press (featured here on Etsy) both the Wooster Collective and Etsy have become the de facto galleries for their respective mediums and let us all witness their modernization.
Thanks, guys, and well done.
