This letter is going out to any and all people struggling on the globe to make business happen. I was one of those people for the better part of two years. I was living in a 1976 Jeep on the street. I had an indoor bathroom to use and a kitchen to use but no food to cook in the kitchen. I pulled some strings and got my hands on some wine barrels. An older brother figure had some tools and a magic little shop for wood working. Together we spent hundreds of hours inside of the shop creating different things out of wine barrels that we had taken apart. Months later and lots of networking efforts we actually had a web site! I was able to sell enough Vinoture to get my self into a room for rent in a small house. I used to live in a "Flat" on Main Street with three bathrooms and 5 epic sky lights. I use to be wasteful of energy and some materials that I would have never thought to have value.
Boy am i glad that I went through the Recession. It changed my outlook on life. It made me glad to own a bicycle and to love life for the simple things. Seeing all the people loosing jobs makes me sad. I just want to instill some hope in the hearts and minds of people who are out of work. Please dig deep and try to contact everyone you know while reaching into your depths of any skills you obtain. You may have to sell your nice big house. You may have to share a room with family members. You may have to change your diet and your lifestyle. I had to. It made me a man. It made me happy to have the struggle everyday of how to stay warm and how to eat. How to provide for my family and most of all how to stay positive. Look around you and try to find some material you can turn into art. Or turn junk into functional items. Dig deep and become thankful that your alive to see the world starting to make change for the good. We are making change for the good by building furniture made locally. We recycle and purchase goods at local markets. Most importantly we celebrate the days that we have no money because it makes you strong. Celebrate life and enjoy the people in yours. Start a think tank and act out some good ideas and soon you will have work again. I hope I inspire you to try something new. It feels so good to change the world for the better. Go recycle some product and make something out of it! Cheers.
