A surprisingly large number of television shows use green screens for outdoor locations, as you can see from this video (after the jump).

This realization kills a bit of the magic, but man is the green screen an improvement on the flat painted backdrop-though there is a certain nostalgic value to those stationary clouds from decades-old shows.
