Your Ideal Candidate In Eleven Questions

  • Posted by: Andrew Price
  • on October 31, 2007 at 1:47 pm

This 11-question quiz from WQAD in Illinois will tell you which presidential candidate is most closely aligned with your views on immigration, Iraq, abortion, the death penalty and, well, exactly six other divisive issues.

Can an eleven-point multiple-choice quiz capture the complexity of the issues and the nuances of the candidates’ positions? Nope. But it might remind you that you agree with someone who’s not getting a lot of press–a Hunter or a Gravel.

The version of the quiz above was based on this more detailed one from Minnesota Public Radio, made for the NPR wonks. Any guesses about how the local ABC affiliate thinks its audience differs from the NPR crowd?
