150 Years Ago, Seattle Journalists Still Wrote About Coal, Coffee and Transit

The Washington Secretary of State's office has made archived state newspapers public. I don't mean to stereotype, but it looks like people wrote about many of the same things Northwesterners think about in 2013 -- "Rain, coffee, transportation issues, worries about Olympia politics, even concerns about shipping coal, they're all in these pages. There's even a reference to drones!"
