The CEO of Chicago Public Schools, Barbara Byrd-Bennett announced on Friday that the memoir "Persepolis" is inappropriate for seventh-graders due to "graphic language and images." Well, students at Lane Tech aren't taking too kindly to the proposed removal. Dozens of students stood in the rain Friday afternoon holding some pretty thought-provoking signs.
