A life lesson in honor of MLK: "The past is not a prison," says Judge Glenda Hatchett
Judge Hatchett takes the stand at the Missouri Theatre in downtown Columbia to talk justice, social issues and "dream gaps" on Jan. 30 in light of MLK Day (just 9 days before this event). Tickets are free; thus so is her insight about her days in reality TV court, her role as founder of the Truancy Intervention Project and what inspired her to write "Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say and Dare to Take Charge," a motivational book written after 10 years wearing a judge's robe.
