A Lower-Cost iPhone, With Recycled Parts, May Launch This Year

Apple's working on making a more affordable iPhone. The bonus: the phone's cheaper partly because some of the electronics inside will use recycled materials. (It will also be cheaper because it uses a plastic shell rather than aluminum; less clear whether that's better for the environment, though it would take less energy to produce). The phone may be available later this year.
