A Lullaby Factory Hidden in a London Children's Hospital
Here's how a London architecture firm turned an ugly tangle of pipes and drainage systems behind a children's hospital into something fun: a lullaby factory. Using the pipes, and horns made out of other recycled pipes, the designers created a music-making system that children at the hospital can visit. The music travels through the pipes, and patients can also tune into a special radio station at the hospital that plays the same lullabies.
