A Whopping $150 Million Poured Into CA Ballot Initiatives

So far, various organizations have spent $150 million fighting against or in support of various ballot initiatives in CA. That is crazy. (Cue Dr. Evil saying "Let's hold democracy hostage for Milllllioooonnns of dollars.) The CA Fair Political Practices Commission has set up a website that lets you see who is spending money on which ballot initiatives. (Big Tobacco apparently fought a tax on cig cartons by spending $48 million over the summer.) The link to that website is in the article.
