Agriculture + Cooperative Mentality = Gender Equality

This is a question that still needs answered, but it's possible that farming, an activity that more often than not requires teamwork, can be a model for gender equality. Farming cooperatives in Africa have garnered environments for female empowerment in a world that still hopelessly disregards a woman's worth. It can be as simple as the cooperative in Ghana that selects both a man and a woman from each village to attend an annual conference where significant policies are determined.
