Shopping on Amazon is a moral mixed bag. It’s fast, it’s cheap, and it comes right to your door, but one has to question the wisdom of individually wrapping and shipping each item, not to mention the low wages paid to the workers doing that wrapping. If you want to curb some of your guilt, check out the site's strangely underpublicized feature , Smile. Apparently, by simply visiting smile.amazon.com 0.5 percent of purchases are donated to the charity of your choice.
