Bologna based artist collective, Antonello Ghezzi, is creating a Never Ending Night, a system of cameras located in the world’s most remote places capturing the stars and streaming them live, anywhere, anytime in an immersive experience to people around the globe. We have observatories on all seven continents who have agreed to be locations for the cameras.
And we need your help! We have launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds for our first prototype, which will be installed in the Arctic Circle at the Italian "Dirigibile" base run by the National Research Council.
We like what Patrizia Caraveo of the Italian Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) said, “The true value of this project is to bring the discovery of wonder of the dark sky to everyone (especially children). It is a treasure that modern civilization tends to lose because of all the lights we turn on every night.”
We hope you like it too! We have a lot of perks, all handmade by the artists.
