Artist Uses Advertising Imagery to Inspire Social Hijinx

In his current solo show at Charlie James Gallery in LA, conceptual artist Steve Lambert confronts the viewer with flashy neon lights and a simple true or false statement: Capitalism works for me. But the interactive installation is a tough call for the myriad gallery–goers who answered true and false, equally, at least at the time of my visit. Lambert's other projects include SelfControl, a timer that blocks the Internet for 90 minutes so that you can maximize your productivity.
