Backyard Skills

Backyard Skills is a monthly D.I.Y. workshop series, delivered in
conjunction with The Ecology Center's demonstrations in green living.
Workshops highlight creative strategies and solutions that foster
sustainability in our everyday lives. All events are held at The Ecology
Center, 32701 Alipaz St., San Juan Capistrano.

Join Us, this Saturday, January 9th - 1PM, for our first-ever workshop
on the art of Terrariums!

Students get their hands dirty as they learn to create entirely
self-sufficient ecosystems that fit inside one-gallon glass jars. That's
right, we're talking terrariums in this class where each student will design
and take home a beautiful micro-ecosystem of their own. Cost: $25 + $15
Materials Fee.
