Bandwidth + Size = Emotion

An amazing art installation from 1980 by Kit Galloway and Sherrie Rabinowitz. Without any announcement two massive monitors were setup in LA and New York and linked by a satellite. The response is amazing as people learn they are looking at and can interact with people thousands of miles away. This work questions the current trend of minimizing our communication, decades before this technology was readily available to the masses.
