Berkeley Senior Passionate About Making a Difference for Families Coping with Cancer

Bre "Brooklyn" Vergess is a Senior at Cal who has been a part of Camp Kesem over the last four years and is continuing to make a difference today. Camp Kesem is a free summer camp for kids whose parents have or have passed away from cancer. It takes $500 to bring one camper to camp, as camp is free to all camper families. In honor of her Dad, Bre's goal is to raise $3,500 to bring 7 campers to camp this summer.
