Should you take bike to work or take the subway? Richard Pope turned a clock from a flea market into a gadget that can tell you what makes the most sense, based on weather predictions and the current status of the trains you'd need to take. He's hoping to soon expand it to include pollution and traffic data. Yes, this could be an app (and a useful one), but it's kind of fun to see the physical object as well.
