Brain disorders like Alzheimer's and PTSD are notoriously difficult to diagnose, effectively making them difficult to treat. Doctors have recently begun experimenting with new procedures that will change all that. Using objective lab tests, doctors can look at "biomarkers" to determine what's going on in a patient's brain much more accurately. For example, they can test spinal fluid for specific proteins found in Alzheimer's patients. Patients will be able to plan for their future.
