Editor Nancy Heinonen invited four established designers to co-author a book based on a new and unique premise. Published by Rockport, Really Good Logos Explained answers the many questions usually associated with a conventional logo book where the logic, strategy and success of the identities isn't explored or explained. Answers are provided to such questions - what makes that logo successful, why wasn't that design selected, what do they see that I don't see? Designers Margo Chase, Rian Hughes, Alex White and myself, Ron Miriello to provide written critiqued and comment on almost 800 logos in various categories.
