Caitlyn Jenner, Who Voted For Trump, Said She Would Defeat Him In Golf

She may have been harsh, but few would argue with her statement

Last night, transgender icon Caitlyn Jenner made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers to discuss the one-year anniversary of her transition, her controversial endorsement of Donald Trump, and what she thinks about the president 100 days into his term.

When Meyers asked her if she would take the president up on a round of golf, Jenner said she thought it would be good for transgender rights, but felt that Trump’s actions were seen as “toxic” by the LGBTQ community.

“I would’ve gone down there and had an opportunity to spend four hours with [Trump] on a golf course and discuss a lot of the issues, and that would’ve been a very good thing for [the transgender] community,” Jenner explained. “But when he [took away protection for transgender students], he’s toxic. I would get destroyed by the community if I did that.”

Then she couldn’t help herself when it came to lobbing a shot at the president’s golf game.

“I haven’t done it [played golf with Trump] ’cause I don’t think he wants to get beat by a 67-year-old trans woman. The man has an ego.”

That he does.

A few days prior, she opened up to Diane Sawyer about an earlier invitation from the president the night of the inauguration, and why she hasn’t taken him up on his offer.

Though we won’t see them on the links together anytime soon, few would doubt that the former decathlete, once deemed the world’s greatest athlete, knows her way around a golf course even better than our president, who seems to live on the course these days.
