California makes history on the right to safe, clean, and affordable water

It will be interesting to observe the implementation of this new CA water rights bill which establishes that every person in California has the right to safe, clean, affordable and accessible water. "The U.S. federal government has not recognized water as a human right, but this policy initiative at the state level could become a turning point as far as water policy and politics goes."
