Cancer Website Clearinghouse really helps
If you or someone close to you has been diagnosed with Cancer, the following scenario is all too familiar. They have been at their primary care doctor's office and the doctor has said – I think you have Cancer and I want you to see a specialist. Most patients stop listening after they hear the word Cancer! They go home and ask themselves – now what do I do? What did the doctor say? What does this mean?
Our research indicates that 84% of the public goes to the Internet within 24-48 hours only to be overwhelmed with Cancer information. This is where American Cancer Educational Services (ACES) and its website www.FocusOnCancer.org can step in and help not only the patient but friends and families as well. We have created a cancer website clearinghouse that is medically reviewed. We do the work for the patient so that they do not have to spend needless hours trying to find reliable Cancer information. ACES stress getting the best information currently available and getting a second opinion so that the patient feels empowered and not a victim.
*If you can donate and help this great cause, we really need the help in these dificult economic times.*
