Celebrating Street Life

Road diets are becoming increasingly popular around North America, however, many transportation authorities remain skeptical. Celebrate Yonge Street is a great example of way to get around the politics of the street. By making it a month-long event, organizers were able to effectively pull off a pilot for one of Toronto's major downtown streets.
