Chanel goes Green for Spring 2013

...at least on the runway. Chanel's Spring 2013 show in Paris took place on a runway covered with solar panels and amidst two rows of wind turbines.

Admittedly this is more about a feeling and spirit than a commitment to environmental responsibility in the collection itself: "It's more about the mood of the times, not something you have to translate," Karl Lagerfeld told British Vogue.
