Change in Key

Remember in the 60s when music was used for political change (a la Give Peace a Chance)? What comes around goes around, and this time, Malians are re-trending that political tactic. Ever since Northern Mali was overtaken by Islamic rebels last summer, the country that has always long been hailed for its peace and counterterrorism efforts has been in a deathly struggle to get back on its feet. They're hoping U.S. troops will step in, and this cry for help is about as beautiful as they come.
