CicLAvia Could Get a $200,000 Grant from Los Angeles

If you haven't heard of it before, Ciclavia is both something to learn and do in LA. Recently, motion was approved to use $200,000 from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Trust Fund for event expenditures. Up to 10% of the funds received during the fiscal year may be used towards long and short-term public education programs like CicLAvia (a 80,000-person bike ride happening twice a year).
