Imagine you had access to an actual place where all the information that could fit in the Encyclopedia Britannica...times a million...was a short walk or drive from your home. Uh, yeah. But seriously folks, libraries can be so much more than repositories of information. They are meeting places, civic hubs, and perhaps more importantly, tactile encounters with other people—not to mention ideas. So this week, find your closest public library and get yourself a library card.
