Coca-Cola and IFC Invest in Women Entrepreneurs

Coca-Cola and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) recently announced a $100 million initiative to assist women entrepreneurs in Eurasia and Africa in the hopes of unlocking their economic potential. Women in emerging economies generally receive less funding than their male counterparts. Coca-Cola’s global initiative, 5by20, aims to financially empower five million women by 2020.
