Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that affects more than 2.1 million people worldwide. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis, although the progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person are unpredictable.
On May 29, World MS Day, the global MS community wants to know “What’s Your Motto?” We all have mottos that we live our lives by. The “What’s Your Motto?” awareness campaign aims to inspire us with personal mottos related to overcoming obstacles and dealing with the adversity posed by MS. Show your solidarity with the global MS movement:
· Visit www.worldmsday.org to share and learn from mottos about overcoming obstacles.
· Download web banners, logos and other tools to help spread awareness across your online networks.
Raise awareness and defy MS through your connection today and all year long.
