Dance Marathon Raises 12.3 Million to Fight Childhood Cancer

After a year of fundraising, months of planning and 46 hours of dancing for the kids, this year’s Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon managed to shatter last year’s total and raise a whopping $12,374,034.46.

THON 2013 continued its seven-year streak of higher grand totals, with the help of personal and corporate donations, the THON store and other special events.

This is a prime example of what happens when humans come together and empower each other.
