This Saturday, August 7 from 6-10pm, SF for Acumen and Nuru Project present DIGNITY – a one night photography auction and exhibition benefiting Acumen Fund. Photographs for auction by renowned photographers, including Susan Meiselas (Magnum), Ami Vitale (National Geographic), and Palani Mohan (Reportage by Getty Images). Also showcasing a special exhibition of photographs by Acumen Fund Fellows. Refreshments, hors d’oeuvres, and music provided. Acumen Fund is a non-profit global venture fund that uses entrepreneurial approaches to solve the problems of global poverty. Acumen Fund’s investments focus on delivering affordable, critical good and services – like health, water, housing and energy – through innovative, market-oriented approaches  

 

Nuru Project leverages photography for social change in the developing world through its photography benefit auctions. Photographs are donated by participating artists, which enables Nuru to distribution 100% of auction proceeds to partnership organizations and charities.
