Prince Harry is about to get his first taste of military action in Iraq.
His deployment was conveniently announced on the same day that Prime Minister Tony Blair announced a cut of 1,600 British troops
in Iraq over the coming months. In the U.S. Dick Cheney responded to the troop cuts
saying, "Well, I look at it and see it is actually an affirmation that there are parts of Iraq where things are going pretty well." Wow, you've got to have balls of steel to say that with a straight face. He continued, "In fact, I talked to a friend just the other day who had driven to Baghdad down to Basra, seven hours, found the situation dramatically improved from a year or so ago." He is, of course, referring to his own imaginary version of the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.
