Doors Open in Charlotte

We are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Grameen America in Charlotte. Initial members received their micro-loans on Friday, December 28th.

Gladys Rivera, our first member, moved to Charlotte twelve years ago create a better life for her five children. Gladys will invest her $1,000 loan from Grameen America into her Honduran food business with future hopes of opening a restaurant.

We are grateful to all who have actively fundraised to bring Grameen America to Charlotte!
