Downtown Presence for the University of Arizona

The U of A has just established UAD, short for University of Arizona Downtown. Located in the Roy Place building, UAD will be a "communiversity" according to College of Architecture dean Jan Cervelli. This promises to be a place where the UofA will connect to the city of Tucson. It's main focal areas will be sustainable urban design, planning and policy.

This center, integrated into the framework of the city, could be a positive example of the future of education at the UofA.
