Email Vacation Project

So I'm an MFA design student. For my thesis project I am developing future visions of email. As part of my research, I decided to completely ignore all my email for a week, just to see how I would feel without it, what I would miss and what was truly necessary about email. I found the project so illuminating that I started a website to try to encourage others to do the same (and to collect research about it if I can). I'd love feedback on the project, if it makes any sense and if this is something I can actually expect people to do (i.e., would you do it?). I've included a small set of prizes but because I'm not very wealthy nor am I a corporate research firm, I don't have too much to offer.
