Explorations of Design in Education

This is part of a joint thesis in the Master of Industrial Design program at University of the Arts. My colleague, Kelly and I are exploring the role that design can have in supporting teachers to teach 21st century skills in a design based way through a consultancy type model for a partnership between universities and urban public schools. We are working with a great teacher/principal intern and his 11th grade American History class at a magnet high school in Philadelphia.
