'Farmscrapers' as the New Urban Farming Model

While Shenzen, China, is best known for its distinctive mouth-numbing Szechuan peppercorns, the notoriously polluted city has just unveiled plans for six sustainable ‘farmscrapers,’ designed by French firm Vincent Callebaut Architects, consisting of three interlacing eco-spirals of pebbles which weave their way up two megalithic towers.
