Felix Baumgartner Flies Faster than the Speed of Sound to Break World Record

Watch the video from this link. Your heart will pump just as fast as Felix Baumgartner, who completed a 24-mile skydive today (wrapping up a five-year effort to shatter a world record set 52 years ago). A 30 million-cubic-foot helium balloon hoisted a 3,000-pound capsule carrying the daredevil. He reached 833.9 mph, or mach 1.24, which is faster than the speed of sound. No one has ever reached that speed wearing only a high-tech suit.
