Female entrepreneur fights skin-bleaching in Ghana

Ghanaian entrepreneur Grace Amey-Obeng launched a line of therapeutic beauty products fifteen years ago to counter any skin damage Ghanaian women experience due to skin-bleaching products. "I saw the need for assisting them to reverse the [skin-bleaching] process because otherwise it would become a social problem," she said in a BBC interview. Amey-Obeng also uses her business savvy to create jobs for women with her beauty technician college and to make her products affordable and accessible.
