Follow WE'VE to help prevent human trafficking/create job stability (see URL below)

In 2004, after a deeply personal experience with human trafficking, I founded Lulan. My goal was to generate livelihoods for artisans, create job stability and help prevent human trafficking in the most at risk populations.

Over the last nine years, with the help of advice and resources from people such as Peter Thiel and Joi Ito, Lulan built relationships with artisans and cooperatives in five Southeast countries, and created a business model that achieves the dual goals of purpose and profit.

In 2010, we sponsored a contest online in which designers from around the world, interested in collaborating with artisans, submitted more than 1600 designs in just 2-1/2 weeks. It was clear there was need and desire for an online community serving designers, artisans, and buyers. Thus was born our new Ecommerce community, called WE'VE.

And now we need your help to scale and truly achieve the impact I intended back in 2004. We want to make it to the Finals
