Former Child Slave Advocates for the End of Child Abuse in Haiti

At the age of 4, Jean-Robert Cadet was given to another Haitian family for their use upon the death of his mother. Cadet became a Restavek, or child servant, and was physically, sexually and emotionally abused, forced to work long hours in the home of his master. Since growing up, Cadet has founded an organization to raise awareness about and bring an end to the plight of Restavek children in Haiti. This music video is one of his efforts to create conversations in Haiti around this issue.
