Free to Be

We tried to submit our Pepsi Refresh Idea/endeavor this morning at 12:01am today and the web site was extremely slow and unresponsive for 25 minutes and we never got a confirmation. But, our endeavor is currently running and would be an outstanding choice for what Pepsi Refresh and GOOD envisions as a GREAT idea.

"Free to Be" presents free, live assembly programs at shcools across the nation, teaching teenagers about America's great legacy of freedom and patriotism.  Our current team has reached 91,455 students in seven semesters and we have 25,562,383 more to reach.  This grant will guarantee that - we are asking for the 250K grant from Pepsi Refresh.  We are a non-profit organization and this assembly program is reaching these young Americans at the crucial time in their lives.  With an award winning video, which won a Telly Award in Education, and the live interaction with our young presenter these students are being inspired with respect, pride and love for America and it also creates them to be interested, informed and involved citizens.  They realize how lucky they are to live in America and that over 1 million people have died to keep our freedom and soon it will be their time to preserve freedom like it has been preserved for them for over 230 years now.  They learn that other teens across the world do not have these endless opportunities or hope.  Please visit our web site www.freetobe.us and read the student and teacher comments - they are amazing and we have thousands of them.  THEY NEED US and Pepsi Refresh or GOOD can help us reach them.
