Good News for Polar Bears: Shell Suspends Arctic Drilling

Shell won't be drilling in the Arctic this year, thanks to accidents that damaged drill ships. This doesn't mean that they don't want to go back later—they do. But at least it's a break for a fragile ecosystem, and the company has admitted that drilling in the Arctic has been much more difficult than they expected.
