Help Educate America's Youth About Health, Promote Sustainable Agriculture, and Create Green Jobs.
How much healthy, whole food is available in black and brown neighborhoods? Not much. So, SOS Juice, "a solar-powered for-profit/non-profit hybrid" plans to "sell juice, smoothies, and compost in order to improve health, promote sustainable agriculture, and create green jobs for low-income youth and the formerly incarcerated individuals."
SOS plans to pilot the idea in Oakland by setting up a juice booth this spring--and hopes "to prove the benefits of the model and out potential to grow nationwide." But they "need support from like minded people like you to raise about $10K to make it happen."
