By telling a gunman that she loved him, Antoinette Tuff, a bookkeeper at the Atlanta-area Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy, prevented another mass school shooting. Now Tuff's proving that her she's an enduring force of awesomeness. She's raising money through GoFundMe "to provide travel for underprivileged children." Says Tuff, "We will provide inner city kids the opportunity to see the world. If you change their vision, you can change their lives."
Thanks to the generosity of the public, in the past week Tuff's raised $103,881.00, outstripping her goal of $1,500. But the fact remains that nearly one-fourth of American kids live in poverty, and far too many of them rarely get to experience life outside their neighborhood, so let's help Tuff take her goal to the next level.
