How Flight Attendants Fight Human Trafficking

Flying home from the Dominican Republic, off-duty flight attendant Nancy Rivard noticed two distressed children with a woman who seemed unconcerned. Rivard called a trafficking hotline to report what she saw, and a few weeks later learned that her call had led to the discovery of a human trafficking ring in Boston, and to the rescue of 82 children. She has since established a program to teach flight attendants how to recognize and report instances of human trafficking.
