In Honor of Malala: Mentor a Girl in Your Community

To support girls' education everywhere, try starting at home and acting as a mentor, tutor, or friend to a girl in your community. Check out Girls Learn International, a US-based after-school program for high school and middle school students that raises funds to support girls' education initiatives in Partner Schools abroad. Look for a chapter near you, and offer to volunteer your time. You'll be helping girls in your local community as well as those in Pakistan, Nepal, India, and more!
