Inspired by His Daughter's Video Game, This Guy Built the World's First One-Wheeled Electric Motorcycle

When asked by his daughter if he could build the powerful unicycle vehicle from her video game, Chris Hoffman saw more than an innocent question—he saw a challenge. He went to work and produced the Ryno—the world's first electric motorunicycle.

Designed for urban travel, the Ryno features a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, a 1.5 hour recharge time, a 20 mile range, and a max speed of 20 mph. It will go into production in 2013.
